Mineral Makeup Brands (part 2 of 2)

To do that, always check the ingredients that go into each bottle. This is printed on the label and what you should keep an eye for are the key ingredients namely mica, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. The ideal mineral makeup product must not contain bismuth, bismuth oxychloride, parabens or talc that are known to be harmful for your skin.

Apply a small sample of the makeup on your skin to see if it looks good on you and to see if there is any side effect.

It is only when everything checks out that the only factor in buying one brand from the other is the price. Always compare how much one bottle costs with another and then decide if it is worth buying. You should also check how much content goes inside the container because if one product is cheaper but contains less, you are probably better off with another that contains more.

One problem when buying any brand of mineral makeup product is that the brushes are always sold separately. If you are able to look through the different products with a lot of detail, then you should also do the same when you look for the right brush which you will use to apply the makeup to your skin.

There are a lot of mineral makeup brands around right now and this should not be a surprise given that it has been around for more than 30 years. So take your pick at what is available and use what you think is right for you.
